Located in the heart of Tyrol, Austria, this private mountain residence demonstrates how outdoor spaces can be enjoyed throughout the year, even in environments defined by snow, low temperatures, and challenging weather conditions.
Surrounded by breathtaking alpine landscapes, the project was conceived around a simple idea: creating a seamless connection between architecture, nature, and outdoor living. Through the use of weather-resistant outdoor furniture, durable materials, and carefully designed outdoor areas, the residence proves that luxury outdoor living should not be limited to summer.

Nestled within the mountainous landscape, the residence blends naturally into its surroundings through a refined combination of stone, wood, and expansive glass surfaces.
The architecture embraces the inside-out concept, allowing indoor and outdoor spaces to function as one continuous living environment. Large panoramic windows frame the surrounding mountains while maximizing natural light throughout the year.
This strong connection to nature extends beyond the architecture itself and into every outdoor area, creating spaces that remain inviting during both warm summers and snowy winters.
Designing outdoor spaces in alpine environments requires more than beautiful aesthetics. Furniture must be capable of withstanding temperature fluctuations, snow, humidity, and prolonged exposure to the elements.
For this reason, the project incorporates high-performance outdoor furniture developed with weather-resistant materials specifically designed for year-round outdoor use.
Premium outdoor fabrics, stainless steel structures, technical upholstery, and durable finishes ensure that every piece maintains its comfort and appearance regardless of the season.
Protective covers further contribute to the longevity of the furniture, helping preserve materials and reduce maintenance requirements during periods of heavy weather exposure.

Positioned to capture panoramic mountain views, the terrace was divided into distinct functional areas that support different moments of everyday life.
The outdoor lounge area serves as a natural extension of the interior living spaces. Featuring the Nomad Sofa, it creates a welcoming environment where residents can gather, relax, and enjoy the surrounding landscape throughout the seasons.
Adjacent to the lounge, the outdoor dining area was designed around the Senses Kitchen and the Mo and Nodo Dining Set. This configuration transforms the terrace into a complete outdoor living space where cooking, dining, and entertaining can be enjoyed regardless of the time of year.
The versatility of these collections demonstrates how modern outdoor furniture can adapt to changing lifestyles while maintaining exceptional comfort and durability.

The pool area introduces a different atmosphere focused on relaxation and well-being. Trace Sunbed offer a comfortable place to enjoy sunny days, while the Nomad Armchairs create additional seating opportunities around the pool.
At the center of the space, the Sphere Fire Pit becomes a defining feature during colder months. Beyond providing warmth, it creates a focal point that encourages outdoor gatherings even when temperatures begin to drop.
This combination illustrates how outdoor furniture and fire features can extend the usability of exterior spaces far beyond the summer season.
At the edge of the terrace, the Fable Hanging Sofa offers one of the most privileged viewpoints of the entire property.
Suspended within the landscape, it creates a peaceful retreat where residents can immerse themselves in the tranquility of the mountains. Whether surrounded by vibrant summer scenery or snow-covered peaks, the space remains equally inviting throughout the year.
Its versatility reflects the broader philosophy behind the project: creating outdoor environments that remain functional, comfortable, and beautiful in every season.
Inside the residence, a heated swimming pool continues the relationship between architecture and landscape.
Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the surrounding mountains, allowing residents to experience the changing seasons while remaining immersed in a warm and comfortable environment.
The Trace Sun Loungers, Houdini Armchairs, and carefully selected metallic accents introduce elegance and refinement while maintaining visual continuity with the outdoor spaces.
The result is a unique environment where indoor comfort and outdoor beauty coexist effortlessly.

This mountain residence demonstrates that outdoor living is no longer restricted by climate or season.
Through the combination of weather-resistant outdoor furniture, protective furniture covers, durable materials, and thoughtful design, outdoor spaces can remain functional and inviting throughout the entire year.
More than a private residence, this project illustrates how architecture and outdoor furniture can work together to create year-round outdoor living experiences that celebrate nature in every season.
